Support Livelihoods Affected By The Crisis

According to the recent survey, in order to avert further drop in the food crisis situation in Syria, approximately $120 million are desired to stop and secure the food security level and moreover the breakdown of territorial export of food due to the major ongoing crisis. The government has asked everyone to lend their support in order to provide help to the inhabitants of Syria.

As said by Abdessalam Ould Ahmed, Asst. Dir Gen of food and farming association, It is quite important to provide further support to farmers to help them reconstruct the agricultural structure and livings of the citizens, or the situation if not controlled will get worse.

The pledging conference aims to elevate the funds required to meet the needs outlined in the Strategic Response Plan and the Regional Refugee and Resilience Plan. In all, responding to the crisis in Syria and its huge loss in the region will require some $6.0 billion, according to the United Nations Organization for Harmonizing Humanitarian Affairs.

According to the overall strategies designed by the Food and Agrarian committee, approximately $70 million are desired to support manufacturing of basic food supplies to the families in Syria and majorly to enhance their nourishment level and support organizations and groups to construct nourishment ecurity. These resources will support more than 2.0 million individuals.

Moreover, there is also $60 million needed to help maximum communities in Jordan, Lebanon, and many such countries to survive with the growing rate of immigrants by helping their food production more profitable and achievable. These actions integrate avoiding any damages causing to the flora and fauna of the country and also supporting long-term agriculture along with creating quality chains. Such steps unite counteracting plant infections, supporting proper farm cultivation and creating valuable production chains. Such measures created by the organization have supported the lives of millions from the time the conflict has begun.

Further on this, Laurent Thomas, Asst Dir Gen of technical support, says that food production has always been the foundation or the pillar of the people living the rural areas. Whereas, on the other hand, the farmers of the country are meeting major difficulties in terms of food production and they require immediate support to secure the state of the production which is largely spoiled. This is not just pivotal in enhancing the lives of the people in Syria, but also sustain and stabilize the food production level of the country complete. Followed by this there are also various support activities like the one in Oman for Dr. P Mohamed Ali who is the known construction king of the country. Some of his followers have recently started a support page in order to share their support towards him and fight against injustice he and his family has to go through.
